NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
At present two NSS units are functioning in this college with more than 100 volunteers. These units are playing most important role in creating social awareness and sense of discipline among the student community. In addition to their regular academic work Sri P.Bhaskara rao, Contract Lecturer in History and Sri. G.Venkata Rao, Lecturer in Economics are acting as Programme Officers to Unit-I and Unit-II respectively.

10-DAY NSS SPECIAL CAMPS
Every year the two units organize 10-Day special camps to inculcate the sense of self service and social responsibility in the students towards rural population. The college has been organizing the camps regularly since 2008. The details as follows:
OUR COLLEGE NSS ACHIEVEMENTS:
CLEAN AND GREEN PROGRAMMES
This college observes every third Saturday as a Clean and Green Day and organizes Shramadanam and Plantation Programmes.
TALK - AIDS PROGRAMMES
- The NSS units of this college gives much priority to AIDS awareness programmes like rallies, street plays, skit plays, songs and cycle rallies.
- AIDS awareness progrmmes were organized in 10 villages covering 21 Grama panchayats in Ganapavaram mandal and Nidamarru mandal . The students (both boys and girls) went to the villages by pada yatra, made door to door campaign and affixed AIDS awareness waterproof stickers to each door. They also performed cultural programmes on AIDS to bring awareness among the rural people.
A Red Ribbon club was established in the college during the year 2008-09, to inculcate sense of sacrifice and social concern in the students.
